Studying in Regional Australia will not only provide an additional 5 points but also enable students to get an additional 1 or 2 years Temporary Graduate Post Study Work Visa depending on the regional areas they are studying in.

Government has divided all regional areas into Regional cities and Major Regional Centres, which are as follows:

Cities and Major Regional Centres: Studying in these cities will provide an extra 5 points for regional study and a 1-year additional Graduate Post Study Work Visa. Example – A student completing Bachelor or Masters in this region can get 3 years Graduate Post Study Work Visa.

Regional Centres and Other Regional Areas: Studying in these centers will not only get 5 points for regional study but also an additional 2 years Graduate Post Study Work Visa. These regions also get priority processing for regional visas.

Example – A student completing Bachelor or Masters in this region can get 4 years Graduate Post Study Work Visa.
